Katy Green

Katy Green is the CEO of the Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation, which sets up and manages cost effective personally-named giving funds and foundations for local companies, families, and individuals.

Katy joined the Community Foundation eight years ago from EM Media and a career as a producer working for clients including the NHS, social and education services,  the Film Council and various production companies.

Before that, she worked in play and youth work, including the Leicester Street Play project and Safe Routes to School projects, redesigning urban areas through community consultation.

The Foundation enables support of any cause, especially the local charitable groups that quietly help to keep our city and counties healthy, safe and thriving, and initiates projects which strengthen connections between private, public and voluntary spheres to improve the local area for all of us.


Kevin Urquhart 

Kevin Urquhart is Managing Director and Founder of Fraser Urquhart Media – a unique hybrid of Publicity and Publishing Consultancy.

Sonia Thompson

Sonia Thompson is an international Organisational Development Consultant. She began her company after a successful career in higher education. Sonia sits on the Board of several organisations and has been active in the community helping to establish a number of charities, social enterprises, and two women’s refuges. She is the current Chair of WIMUK the organisers of this year’s East Midlands Women’s Awards.

Sonia is passionate about women and their personal and professional development. She believes woman power if only allowed to reach its potential could change the world.

  

 

 

 

 


Rachel Hargrave

This varied background has given Rachel key skills in strategy, implementation, content design and delivery, as well as project management. Rachel founded her first agency 16 years ago.

Rachel is also a Director of The Director-e an online job board specialising in senior and executive recruitment for those aged over 45.
