Rupal Rajani is an award-winning presenter working for BBC Radio Leicester and is a leading personality within the city and across the region.
Having been with the BBC for over 15 years, she has presented a range of programmes over the years including the lunchtime show, with its mix of music, competitions and lunchtime guests, Field Production, Live Broadcast, and News Writing. Maurice Flynn is a presenter & senior journalist with BBC News.
He’s been presenting and producing the weekend news for East Midlands Today for 8 years, but has been with the BBC on-and-off since he was a teenager; inspired to be a journalist after seeing Newsround and Press Gang when he moved from Ireland. In that time, Maurice has worked in news on both radio and TV, but also in rural affairs, lifestyle and entertainment programming. A variety that has helped him hone a warm authority and light-touch approach, and which saw him – aged 31 - become the oldest person ever invited to audition for Blue Peter.
